Speaker: Renée Niessen

Evernote and Microsoft OneNote are well known tools for personal knowledge management. Renée Niessen, a very happy Evernote user for over eleven years, recently left Evernote for Microsoft OneNote. The reason for the switch was smoother integration of OneNote with other Microsoft tools, such as Outlook and To-Do, and high expectations of the newly introduced Microsoft co-pilot.

In this workshop, Renée will share her experience of moving her system with 7000 notes. She will discuss the technical aspects of the move and how she set up her new system as a knowledge and project management system using the methods of Getting Things Done and the 12-week year. The differences between OneNote on the Mac and Windows are discussed, the pros and cons of the tool compared to Evernote, and the decisions that still need to be made in order to work happily ever after with OneNote.

In addition, other OneNote users are invited to share their PKM systems during the session.
